Do the PMO and PM roles overlap?
Secondly, what can be the career progression for PMOs? I mean for example in an IT industry a person who starts with being a developer can lead on to become an Architect or a Delivery manager. Similiarly which are the roles that a PMO can take up while progressing in his career (both in IT and NonIT industries) and for that what would be the skills and competencies that he needs to gather?
